Dec 21, 2009 - how do make it chocolate flavor

LouieFillet Says:

Dec 24, 2009 - @alana66694 Shortening, in its most generic meaning, is any fat or oil that is used to make a short crust or dough (one that has a high ratio of fat to flour, and turns out tender, crumbly, and rich).Butter, margarine, or Crisco can be used.I recommend coating the bottom of the bowl with the shortening instead of just dropping it in the bowl, it makes clean up so much easier, and prevents sticking to the bowl, ( and the board)

Jan 14, 2010 - Hi...Can we use large marshmallow instead of small ones? Have been looking all over for the smaller ones..but all I could find was colored ones...

tyleroreilly Says:

Jan 16, 2010 - I have made this before with large and small. Size doesn't matter, the only thing different was that the larger marshmallows puffed up when I microwaved them. So just be careful of that.

Jan 17, 2010 - Hello once again...Am done making the dough...What I need to know is the how do I store it? If I want to make a cake and cover it in another 3 or 4 days, is better to put the fondant in the fridge or can I leave it out? If It does become a little hard later on, shall I put it in the microwave and then work with it or just add more crisco? Thanks a million for this video...You really made my dream of making fondant come true :)

Feb 26, 2010 - My fondant got hard what do I do.

SuperSanchez21 Says:

Feb 26, 2010 - When I was making my fodant it was separating and it got really hard fast so it was hard to kneed. I don't know if it's suppose to do that but Now I know to put it on the microwave when I am going to use it because now it is really hard.

Mar 7, 2010 - @SuperSanchez21 wen im making my fondant i usually just add water to it so that way it will be more easier and softer to work with

SuperSanchez21 Says:

Mar 7, 2010 - when I rolled the fondant it was hard and it wouldn't go any thinner before ripping. I didn't like it at all I am going to try using the store bought one.
